Sunday School

For ages 4-14 years.  Sunday School is held on a Sunday at 9.45am in the Portacabin next to St Peter’s Church. We have a team of volunteers who take it in turns to lead Sunday School. All volunteers are DBS checked. Sunday School is a fun environment with Bible Stories, relevant Craft and Activities.  Children then join the Church family for a blessing and to share with the congregation what they have learnt.  This is rounded off with refreshments for all.

St Peter’s Youth Club

For ages 7-14 years.  Youth Club is held in St Peter’s Church from 5.30pm-7.00pm each Friday during term time. Club is a place to meet at the end of the school week to ‘chill out’, chat with friends, watch a dvd, join in craft activities, play pin-ball and board games. There is a Tuck shop and the evening is rounded off with Chips and Curry sauce from the Chippie.

Young people pay £1 subs each week to cover these costs.  We have an annual outing, occasional visits to play skittles.  All volunteers are DBS checked.

Meet on Monday

For babies, toddlers and those who care for them.  Meet on Monday is held in St Peter’s Church on a Monday from 9.15am-11.00am. We have space for the babies and children to play with toys on the play mats. This gives those looking after the children time to have a catch up and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and toast. Healthy nibbles are provided for the children. We have a time for topical creative activities and the session finishes with singing and the playing of noisy percussion instruments is optional.  £1 per child.
